A common misconception is that a higher mil is “better” or will last longer, however, that just isn’t the case. We recommend to choose a higher mil if you allow any pets to get in the pool. Otherwise, pick whichever pattern you like the most or whatever is within your budget.

Your pool braces secure the foundation of your pool. The standard brace option is sufficient for the majority of pool builds, however we do offer addition upgrades depending on what you may need for your pool.

The lower section of this brace is bolted to the bottom of your steel wall panel, then folded up toward the top of the wall. In the fold, a steel stake is driven through a pre-cut slot, and into the ground. Once driven into the ground, the stake is bolted to the foldover brace and locked in place. The upper section of the foldover brace is attached to a turnbuckle that will be loosened or tightened to plumb the face of your wall. One end of the turnbuckle is bolted to the foldover brace, the other end is bolted to the top of the wall.

The lower section of this brace also includes a foundation stabilizer that gives your concrete collar more surface area to “bite” onto. This is a great choice if you are looking for increased structural integrity for your pool.
