Next to each liner pattern, you’ll notice there is a “mil, ” this is the thickness of the liner. The most common question we get asked is “What is the difference between mils?” The “mil” is a measurement used to determine the thickness of the liner, and Pool Warehouse offers liners from 20mil up to the “Pet Friendly” 36mil.
Modern Mouldings Styrofoam Form Coping For Vinyl Liner Pool Kit
A common misconception is that a higher mil is “better” or will last longer, however, that just isn’t the case. We recommend to choose a higher mil if you allow any pets to get in the pool. Otherwise, pick whichever pattern you like the most or whatever is within your budget.
Your pool braces secure the foundation of your pool. The standard brace option is sufficient for the majority of pool builds, however we do offer addition upgrades depending on what you may need for your pool.
The lower section of this brace is bolted to the bottom of your steel wall panel, then folded up toward the top of the wall. In the fold, a steel stake is driven through a pre-cut slot, and into the ground. Once driven into the ground, the stake is bolted to the foldover brace and locked in place. This entire lower section will be encased in a concrete collar around the entire pool.

The upper section of the foldover brace is attached to a turnbuckle that will be loosened or tightened to plumb the face of your wall. One end of the turnbuckle is bolted to the foldover brace, the other end is bolted to the top of the wall.
The lower section of this brace also includes a foundation stabilizer that gives your concrete collar more surface area to “bite” onto. This is a great choice if you are looking for increased structural integrity for your pool.
You should consider adding this to their pool primarily if you do no not plan on backfilling with gravel, and will also support your deck if you are laying brick or pavers instead of pouring concrete. Installing this brace is very easy, it simply bolts to the bottom of the panel next to your foldover brace, then is folded over and bolted to the top of the wall. This creates an “X” shaped bracing.
Bendable Z Poolform For Radiant Pools
This brace includes the best of all the steel brace options, all in one! The top and bottom of the brace are bolted respectively to the wall, a polymer stake is driven into the ground and bolted in place. These braces also includes an attachment for sono tubes, if you plan to install those.
Our pool coping is made from a high grade extruded aluminum, coated with a white or gray textured non-slip paint. This bolts to the top of your pool panel, and will be the “fascia” of your patio edge leading into the pool. The coping will also house your vinyl liner track.
The rounded bullnose profile is great for that classic inground pool look. Bullnose coping is designed to have concrete poured flush with the top of the coping face.
What Is Cantilevered Pool Coping?
Also called the “Flat Flex” profile, this flat face coping give you the modern look of a square edge, but the same ease of installation as bullnose coping. This profile is great for freeform pools, as it can easily be bent to different radii out in the field.
A liner track that bolts to the top of your panel. With this option, you can choose to either lay pavers, brick, or stone to up to the edge of your pool.
Steel wall inground pool kits have two different wall height options, 42″ or 48″ for those wanting a little bit more depth in the shallow end of their pool. Steel walls are popular because of the countless bench, step, and tanning ledge options available only to steel wall pools.

As a base material, steel walls are stronger than polymer, however, with that strength comes weight. Steel is much heavier, which leads to the panels being more cumbersome to move around when building your kit.
What is G-235? This is the “galvanization” each steel wall panel receives. G-235 is the strongest galvanization process in the swimming pool industry and is also the highest-rated galvanization treatment steel can receive.
Polymer wall inground pool kits are made from structural thermoplastic and come in a 42″ wall height. Each panel has been designed to provide uniform rigidity, flatness, and strength.
